mikuni 29mm smooth bores float needle

my carb float bowl leaks. can I use the float needle seat o ring from the stock 26mm mikuni carb on my 29mm smooth bores? I don`t know where to buy replacement parts for the 29mm carb.

Be aware that it may not be the float needle and seat assembly at fault.

Recently I've seen bowls leaking from a bad drain screw and from a split overflow tube - the brass one which is a riser inside the bowl. Someone had bent and straightened the tube, splitting it.

Worth checking the bowl in question off the carb.
