    Pilot jets

    Hey all,i ordered new stock pilot jets got em and their abit different , same jet the ones i took out had no holes except in the ends,im put them in and the bike runs like sht,any idea how to order the ones w/no holes
    please advise thanks in advance oh i also cleaned the carbs and put in new intake orings however i have not soaked the carb bodies yet because i cannot get them ,the screws holding the carb brackets refuse to come out useing pb blaster on them ( 1986 gs 550 esg) thanks again

    Have you tried using an impact driver on the screws? (The hand impact driver that you hit with a hammer)

    If you haven't soaked the carb bodies you haven't cleaned anything that needs cleaning.

      Impact driver and/or small VIce-grip end on screw heads should break them loose. Do a proper carb cleaning ( full strip and soak) or plan on getting frustrated.
