    Weird looking gaskets

    I'm taking "before" photos of my carbs (82 GS850G) before clean/dip and I noticed the rubber looking weird here. They shouldn't be hanging out like that, right? The PO said it ran poorly....could this be an obvious reason?

    That's the way they are supposed to be. They make one gasket to fit more than 1 series of carbs. Mine look the same as yours.

      If you are speaking of the float bowl gaskets, which are fiber, they are fine.
