Also, what would be the proper rejetting kit? I'm planning on installing the filters myself (stop giggling, guys), but leaving the jetting to the shop.
Bike has a V&H megaphone that "needs repacking" (I won't do that) and the airbox is missing it's lid. As far as I can tell, she runs near perfect - starts quickly (with full choke) and redlines the first three gears smoothly. Also, the connection between the front and rear airbox sections is now compromised, due to my (unsuccessful) attempt a few nights ago to access the battery.
I started her an hour ago, and she seemed to need the "prime" feature on the petcock. One substantial backfire before it started. Before that, it was two weeks since I started her. Any experience on how long these big beauties sit before they need "prime" to get going again?
For my application, what exactly would the difference be between a "K & N High Performance Air Intake Kit" and the "K & N Universal Clamp-On Air Filters"?
