I'm looking for the round gas cap for my '81 GS450. I ordered an NOS one from Taiwan, waited a month and it never showed up. Does anyone know of someplace in the US to buy a good used or new gascap that's NOT $90 OEM? A decent reproduction would be just fine.

Try http://www.partsnmore.com/ . They have quite a collection of odd stuff and good prices. I think they have a minimum purchase.
They show a 450 gas cap for $25 and reference these part numbers: 44200-700/701/702/703, 44200-49016/017, 44200-49810.
