I'm not aware of any "local o-ring and seal supplier." At least, none of the places I've found that carry o-rings carries the fuel-resistant variety.

Also wasn't aware that Robert did anything other than put together the kits for our GSs.

Harbor Freight- NITRILE metric and imperial.
They hold up fine. I usually tear one putting the quick connects back on the Daytona fuel tank.

Z1 is carrying more and more o-rings. Not sure what bike you're looking for but they might have what you need. I've seen other online distributors posted on here but don't have a direct link to the thread.

Nice, guys! Harbor Freight had a great deal on an assortment. All the places I was finding locally would have to order viton ring assortments in, and they were looking for $40+!

If you're on the cheap, harbor-freight has like a 100-pack or something, like 20 different sizes. As long as their nitrile, you should be okay. But since it's harbor-freight, there's lack of quality control, so double-check each O-ring before using. It's handy to have when you're not exactly sure about the size, or you're really in a pinch. I think they only cost like $10 or less.

I'd steer clear of those generic O-ring kits. They won't have the proper O-ring sizes in many cases. A proper fitting O-ring will have about 1mm of stretch when you install them. Stretch too much and it may work for a while, but the life span may be short. Personally, I'm not a fan of Buna-N for carb applications, although I've used them before. When I worked in the auto business we had a huge recall because some additive in the fuel, which was added years after the cars were originally sold, would attack the O-rings. Viton O-rings are more future proof and more reliable in general when it comes to fuel contact.

Usually, yes. But the carbs I'm working on right now were pretty far gone. O-rings broke apart. Best guess I could make was in taking a caliper to the jets.
