Bike cliff seems to recommend a new one, but looks like they run around $300 are there any successful rebuild kits out there? If so where's the best place to buy? Thanks

So, no one sells a decent rebuild kit for a gs1000?

 The only options are

 -a new 750 (slightly different)
 -an overpriced oem assembly
 -Swap to a pingel
-Use a k&l kit that will deteriorate sooner than it should

 Is that about right?

Remind me (PM) and I can send you pictures of the 1000 petcock next to the 750 petcock tomorrow evening. I am expecting three new 750 ones in tomorrows shipment and have plenty of 1000's on the shelf.

The metal looks fine, it's a suitable kit that seems that seems elusive. It seems there's a lot of issues with buying the correct rubber with these bikes
