    carb to head boots

    Why are they sooooooo flipping expensive???? Also, I thought about making metal ones (for resale) that would accept a replaceable hose. Thoughts?

      They are not really all that bad.

      You only have to buy them every 30 years or so.

      $30.52 each at Parts Outlaw (formerly Boulevard Suzuki).

              How would you make a metal version of a rubber thing?

              Yankee's don't make anything anymore, everything now is made in china including the metal you'd use to "make" your contraption.

                              searching on this site for '79 850 for the correct part number gave me these.

                              one of them listed is only $15.16! i'd give them a ring and make sure you're talking about the same part. if so, buy out their stock.
