What headers are compatible.?

Looking for a 4 into 1 header pipe and im wondering which ones can work on my 78' 1000. I went to a shop this weekend that has a stock pile of used parts they told me that none are transferable. I find that hard to believe, so whats everyone's input?

Look up model compatability for v&h megaphone street header which requires head and hanger compatability, then compare to v&h sidewinder race header for head port compatability. Most 1st and 2nd gen GSXR and bandit will work as well.
