Yes they are known as dowty seals, but there is another name for them and I was going to look them up as well, but where the hell did the Boulevard Suzuki parts fiche go?
Anyway, they are located on the temperature sending unit on the '79 GS1000 temperature sending unit housing, they don't show them on the petcock. The originals were fiber, the newer ones are rubberized coated washers. I have used Teflon in a pinch.Comment

Sealing washers- 1/4 inch size works perfectly on petcock mounting bolts; available at most hardware stores for like 33 cents each1981 gs650L
