1/2" drive, for me, is the only size that has a socket for the rear axle nut. Beyond that it's mostly the 1/4" set and sometimes the 3/8" set as well.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

It all depends on the sockets you have. My hodgepodge of cheap sockets are mostly 1/4" up to a certain size (14mm?) and 3/8" after that. I believe all of my deep-well impact sockets are 1/2".Comment

Anybody know if you can order that “special tool” for the synch screws and locknuts anymore and what it might be called to search for??Comment
