    Main jets ?

I`m struggling with my -82 1100 to rev above 4.500 rpm. to be more accurate , it rev up to redline if I rev up slowly, but if I rev up more rapidly it starves and will not pass 4.500 rpm.
I`m using the origin BS34SS carbs, and have tried the most from main jet 125 and up to 145.
It runs very well up to 4.500 rpm and goes right in the wall with starving symptoms.
My jet needles are not to adjust, only with a plastic shim.
Idle and low rpm are very good.

    Engine: Pods
    G2 Web cams
    10,5 - 1 comp.
    4-1 exhaust

Any good experience out there ? Please advice :-)

You should get real pods, either K&N or the equivalent.
Then you should get a DJ 3133 Kit
Then you should get 47.5 pilot jets
Then you should install the DJ 3133 with 47.5 pilots and either the DJ138's Or if you have them MK 130-132.5

Follow the directions for install and then don't do anything else till you get the main correct; rev to redline. At that point go back to teh needle.

There are some recent threads, were I have posted on very close to the same configuration.
