Just a quick needle questions, putting some 1150 carbs on my bone stock 81 1100e when motor arrives, gonna probley run a 112.5 or 115 main to start and 45 pilot, My question is should I run the stock 1150 needle or the stock 1100 needle from my 34's or neither?

my guess is that a stock 1150 carb is going to be too rich for the stock 1100EX, the mains will help, but you may need to adjust the needles to lean it out as well ; Raise the clip to lower the needle into the emulsion tube.
You might overcompensate by reducing the main still further, but that will probably have a diminishing return. -
Alright, maybe I will just use dynojet needles easier to adjust and see if I can make it workComment
