1980 gs 550 hard starting

Hello everyone,I have a gs 550 starts up normal when cold, runs very good lots of power. But when you turn it off you have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for it to start again.Carbs where rebuilt couple of months ago,i think it might be flooding im thinking of checking float hight,suggestions ? Thanks all

You got the lever less petcock ? Understand how "pr" position works vs. normal spot? Test it in case it "drips" when engine vacuum is off. Maybe the engine is flooded at hot start.

Thanks Tom, I hooked up a vacuum hand pump to the pet cock it is opening and closing as it should
