No. It's hard tailed with podd and open pipes. Carbs are junk. There more job weld holding them together than the aluminum it was cast with. Figured 300 for a set of good stock carbs vs 400 for a set of flatslides...just need to know if they will fit.

Because it is hard-tailed, and not really going to be going anywhere fast, why not just get another set of stock 32CV carbs for it?

Figured it would cost the same. By the time I get a Set of usable carbs plus all the part to rebuild. Estimating (high) around 350-400. I can get rs34 - 36 - 40 for 400...say it's to much for the 850. Even if I jet them down? 33 smoothbore like the 33- a 14Last edited by Guest; 07-26-2014, 03:00 PM.

Just get a set of 34CV carbs from a 1000/1100 model and put them on it if you REALLY believe that your STOCK 850 needs more carb as they bolt right onto the stock intake manifolds with a little nudging.

It does not work that way if the carbs are to big they will slow you down. You don't jet the carbs for the size of your bike you jet the carbs for each bike and the mod it has compression being the biggest factor for jetting. Find a set of Mukuni 33mm smoothbore carbs and be happy they will work good and still be big enough for any mods you decide to get in the future.Originally posted by leedutcher View PostFigured it would cost the same. like these but these are a little over priced
Be fore warned I have never bought or traded for a set of Mukuni's that did not need some work replacing O-rings or somethingLast edited by stetracer; 07-26-2014, 05:33 PM.My stable
