If you don't have some LONG, slender internal c-clip pliers, get the 5 1/2" needle-nose pliers from Sears.

      I use these: http://www.z1enterprises.com/ItemDet...item=MP08-0279

Probably not the least expensive option, but they work great for slide and master cylinder circlips.

I just use a long thin pair of needle pliers and have a piece of wire with a tiny hook bent in the end.

The pliers close the circlip and the hook goes under it and a little tug is all that's needed to get it out. I couldn't find any pliers that were long enough for the job over here. I'm sure if I looked harder I could but I figured an existing set with a free piece of wire was perfect...

I second the Sears needle nose pliers but I like the look of the Z1E set
