77 gs550 stock pilot air/fuel mixture screw setting

Anyone know the stock turn-outs for the mixture screws (bottom and side) on a 77 gs550 running vm22's w/ stock airbox and stock exhaust?

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

You wont see the setting for the BOTTOM pilot screws, but its at about 3/4 to 7/8 out from very gently seated. This seems to be the base setting for the VM carbs.

As a starting point, the fuel screws (bottom) start at 3/4 to 7/8 turn out, the air screws (side) will start at double that.

When the bike is warmed up, adjust the air screws for best idle mixture, which will show up as fastest idle speed and crisp throttle response.
