My GS 1100 from 1982 is strange...
i buy it with not original exhaust and without air filter, so it was dificult to adjust the carbs...
first i check the valves, and after so many hours i am pretty good in clearances, i think...
second i cleaned the carbs like three times...
i changed the jets to see what could be better, and i think i find the right arrangements.
i have the mixture out by 2 "rounds" (sorry for my english)
without air filter (i dont have one) bigger jets than oem
and the cold start is really hard, the battery died before
and the idle goes up like it accelerate by itself...
i tryed to change the misture screw and with more rounds out, it seems to be better, but sitll doing it
i checked for air leaks and seems to be good, i did it many times to be sure
i am thinking about pilot jets bigger, could it be?
