Guys, my cafe racer is fitted with 34mm cv carbs the needles are stamped 5C59, does this number relate to a dynojet kit? How can I tell if a dynojet kit has been fitted. Regards and thank you.

Are you sure it's not 5D59?

The service manual for your bike has the part numbers and sizes for the stock carb components listed in it. If those match what's in your carbs, then you have the stock parts.

(For what it's worth, 5C59 does sound like a stock needle. My understanding is that Dynojet parts don't have part numbers, but the jets will have sizes on them. And their sizes are different from Mikuni sizes, for whatever reason.)Comment

If you have needles with a part # on them, they are stock. Do your needles have only 1 clip groove in them? I have Factory Pro, adjustable needles if you need a set. 65 bucks shipped to you if you are in the USA.

FWIW, stock Mikuni needles for an 1100G should read 5D58.
