the smaller hose would attach to the petcock vacuum spigot and hte larger to the fuel spigot

Thanks Jeep Rusty, I was hoping that was the case with the hoses. I have the one manual that has the hose diagrams for the 550l in section 9-44. I am going to try putting some gas and oil in it tomorrow and give it a go.

So one more question, If I wanted to restore the carburetors to their original configuration I should be able to purchase two drain plug screws where the spigots were added? In the carburetor diagram it looks like they are the same screw. Is this a correct assumption?

Looks like it is part #50 & #51 that only needs to be replaced
