    carb size ??

    when the motor side ID of a set of carbs is 28.80 mm are they 28mm's or 29mm's ,

          Hi Steve , no I wish I did , picked them up at a yard sale , they were only missing main jet and pilot jet , I put in 125 main , and after reading ZI , not sure if should use 15 or 17.5 pilot , any thoughts , Thanks Bill

            If you are only missing parts from the one carb it would make sense to match it with the other three.
            What they all should be would also depend on your exhaust and airbox setup.

              sorry meant all mains jets and pilot jets were not in carbs , SO would you use 15 or 17.5 pilot jets and 125 mains or ??
              will be used on a 79 gs 1000 stock motor ,pods and star exhaust 4 to 1 .

                From the archives courtesy of Keith Krause i see 130s and 17.5. Seeing as you already have the 125s i would try them first.
