    95 GSX-R Carb on GS1100ES Jetting / Mod suggestions?

Ok, since Im back to working on the old GS1100E again, Ive been going through my pile of "accumulated potential upgrades" that I had gathered a few years ago, and discovered a set of 1995 GSX-R 1100 carbs (36mm, flat slide, Mikuni CV) along with the Pod filters. So now I'm wondering what jetting and adjustments I would need to get me in the ballpark.

    My specs:
    Altitude: 600'
    Stock internal 82' GS1100ES
    Yoshimura 4-1 exhaust
    Pod filters

    Carbs:
    1995 GSX-R 1100 36mm factory carbs w/pod filters.

    Any jetting/modification suggestions?

    Thanks!

You are probably right, but I'm pretty sure I can drill some new holes and make it work ok. I was hoping to find some jetting that would bet me in the ballpark once I get it all together.

I think there's a misunderstanding - if the carb spacing is different, then the GSXR carbs physically won't mount up to the cylinder head.

86-93 gsxr oil cooled carbs same spacing as gs 94-9? Water cooled big difference in spacing only way to make the work on a gs would require reracking them to fit (not easy)

Carbs won't fit unless you modify the boots

After some research, it turns out they are from a 1990 GSXR1100"L". The spacing looks to be the same as my old carbs. Any suggestions on a jetting starting point?

Get a dynojet kit for the GSXR carbs
Go with the 160 DJ main jet and follow the instructions on the needle
push the float tab all the was down till it won't adjust anymore.

I messed with the carbs this weekend. Ended up with 45 pilots and the float level raised way up, but it idled good and throttle response was great in the driveway but when I went to ride it there was an off idle stumble/stumble that starts about 2000rpm and goes to about 3500rpm... beyond that it felt pretty good. I finally ran out of time to mess with it and put the stock carbs back on. I'll mess with them more later.
