Those oils will have an "Energy Conserving" designation in the API 'donut' on the rear label. I have not seen any of those oils in a viscosity over 30w. Since it is recommended to run 10w-40 in our bikes that should not be a problem. Regardless of viscosity, though, do NOT run any oil that has the "Energy Conserving" label on it.Originally posted by Seabiscuit View PostJust one thought - some (contemporary) engine oils have additional lubricants in them that are problematic when using a wet clutch.
