I totally agree. I feel sure that's why so many 'old timers' remain active on the forum but almost never post. Repetition can be mind-numbing and you're certainly right about the archives. There is an extraordinary amount of great information to be had there and I very rarely look anywhere else.

the archives is how I found that my 2nd gear driven gear was the one causing me to kick out of 2nd at the fun rpms, but wasn't the dogs like the archives said I the various threads I read, just worn out tri-metal bearing
