I just started to rebuild a very rough looking set of 29's as well. found in an attic with unknown history. They need a bit of work but are salvageable. Follow the progress on my Facebook page here...... https://www.facebook.com/Agemax.carbs/

You need a zinc plating setup. All those steel parts you stripped are going to rust all to crap when some moisture hits them.

I have a guy local to me who does all my zinc plating cheap. All the steel parts get done and all the fasteners will be stainless steel

Being a computer numbskull i somehow deleted most of the rebuild pics.
I did get most of the bits from Z1Enterprises.

So, I cheated a bit. After partially disassembling the carbs in an orderly fashion, I just never seemed to get back to them. I decided to send them out to Bill:chef1366 so he could do his magic.

I don't think I have a bike suited for these....at the moment!
