Carb slide lift hole orientation

Hello, currently replacing my carb diaphragms with replacement diaphragms from JBM Industries.
Can anyone tell me which way the slide lift hole faces? towards the butterflies or air pods?

If I remember rightly its the butterflies, but I want to be 100% correct before bolt up.......obviously.

I knew I should have written the orientation down when I pulled them apart !!!

Yep. Another way to think of it is "downstream of the needle".
