    Bespoke made Exhaust systems

Does anyone know anyone who can make a exhaust system
possibly in stainless steel for a 1980 GSX 250 ET as per picture ?
A bespoke one identical to the ones in the picture, 2 * downpipes
    and a silencers.

It would be great if they were in the UK.
I was however thinking of flying to india to get them hand made .......
as i simply cannot find anyone ?

I am even considering learning to weld exhausts ....

A custom exhaust will be more expensive than an off the shelf product. Does it have to be custom?

Also, isn't that a stock exhaust in the pic?

In your situation, I would make do with a second-hand Motad (or something similar), and watch Ebay, VJMC, this site, go to autojumbles etc. Something will turn up eventually, but an immediate fix is going to cost a damn sight more than the bike did.

Motad dont make 2 into 2 for my bike..... anymore.
They have stopped making the 2 into 1 too - not that i want one in the long run. I have one of those now - it is fine but
        you cant have a 2 into 1 on a 250 - it is dreadful.

I think i will have to sit and wait for the 2 into 2 parts to come in on ebay.
Thing is i have seen nothing re silencers or downpipes.

Id like to redesign - stainless steel - look same as standard - but without the under mixer unit
, just pipes end to end (2 of them).

as you say it will costs a lot.
I so wish i could weld ! i simply want the same as standard.

You must be able to find someone to make you the two head pipes... especially if you use stock collets to bolt them to the frame as then it's only a rolled end on the pipe and a couple of bends.

Then find an exhaust Can you like for a different bike & buy two of them. You might have to fabricate an adapter bracket to bolt them to the frame.
