    +1 on this advice. Why chance a burnt valve? You have no idea what the previous owner did or did not do. The valve check is step 1 in the tune-up game.
    Ever heard of anybody buying a 2nd hand vehicle and not doing a tune-up? Not a good thing to do to a new purchase.
