I broke one of my exhaust bolts off and need to find out what the correct tap size to buy is. If anyone has done the same and has recommendations on fixing it please let me know.

There are countless threads in the archives about the exhaust bolts and how to avoid breaking them. Too late now though. Oh well. There are also threads on how to get the broken bolts out. Welding a nut onto the nub, if there is a nub, is the best solution. I believe the threads are common M8.Ed
