I have one of these I ordered and it's the wrong one for my 1980 GS1000G if anyone wants it. Then I ordered another one from Deland Motorsports, Inc. Part # 58300-44201 and it was wrong too. The first cable had the correct Choke knob etc. but the carb end was wrong, it didn't the threaded end with two nuts on it. Second one had the correct carb end with the threaded part with two nuts but the knob end was wrong!

 CABLE, STARTER 58400-49010

It does not use the nuts you are thinking about as those are for your throttle cable, which is the part number you stated. The choke cable goes into part 60 and 66 on the fiche while the throttle cable with the nuts feed into part 23 on the ficheCowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace
