    Post Carb rebuild results

So, I took the carbs off the GSX1100G, disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt them with all new O-rings, felts, emulsions tubes, needles, idle jets and pilot screws. Prior to doing this, it would start and run without choke (I know it's not really a choke), and only got about 32 mpg. Plus, the hiccupping when taking off. Now, it needs the choke to start, and stay running for several seconds, and I'm now getting just over 41 mpg. No stutter or hesitation taking off anymore either. Running smooth now. I'd say it's been successful, although fairly expensive for all the little parts.

I did a full rebuild on mine and replaced the intake boots a couple of years ago. Huge improvement in druveability - much smoother, especially during low speed / in town riding.
