Stupid question, but where does the spring go? Does it go in first, then needle, so the spring rests against the clip?, or does it go where most cv carbs have it, over the top? looked at manual, but it looks wrong.

Spring goes under the clip and pushes upward. Thus the needle height is controlled by the thickness of the spacer on top of the clip.Ed
