    Gs1000e airbox rubbers

    Hi guys. The rubbers on my air box have gone really hard, do the ones from a 750 fit the 1000 airbox? Thanks wayne

    Yes they do. They fit spot on, the only difference is the bell mouth bit inside the airbox is about 5mm shorter but it doesn't affect anything at all.

        Or you can re-new your old dried out ones with a soak in wintergreen oil and xylene. Several of us have done this already.

        If you can get the two liquids, it is a mixture of 70% xylene and 30% wintergreen oil. A 24 hr. soak in this mix will make your old ones like new again and with a very pleasant odor.
