Gs1100 carbs on a gs850g?
I have a 1982 GS850G and I'm wondering if I can run it with carbs off of a 1982 gs1100. I havent got to ride at all this year so Any and all help/pointers are greatly appreciated.

Not without some modifications. The 1100 carbs are 34mm, your 850 carbs are 32mm. You will need to change the boots on both sides of the carbs (airbox and engine) as well as the airbox itself. The carbs will also need to be re-jetted.
What is wrong with the 850 carbs?
