    GS1100E carb problem?

Got a carb problem I think, number one cylinder blubbers a bit till 1/2 throttle. Full throttle pulls as it should. At end of ride, sort of cooling down I noticed #1 pipe defiantly cooler than the other 3. Any ideas?

Sounds like #1's pilot citcuit is clogged. Can you drop its fuel bowl and have a look without rack removal? If no, try draining the bowl and refill with some carb ckeaner or seafoam - maybe you will get lucky.

Yep,pilot one had residue, cleaned all 4 with small piece of copper wire, reinstalled, throttle crisp and starts instantly. Thanks for the info. I?ve had Suzuki?s since my first 73GT 250(which I wish I could get back or find a similar one) and have never had carbs off. Had to look in the service manual to see what a pilot jet was. Rich
