You mean rejet? Yes, you will need to rejet to run pods. Getting a Dynojet stage 3 kit is the easiest way to get it working reasonably well. If you still have the stock exhaust putting pods on is pretty much pointless. They work much, much better in combination with a performance 4-1 system.

Other than going for a "look", and increasing the noise you have to listen to, and looking forward to all the "fun" of retetting, why do you want to do that?

I have been having issues with this bike. It just cranks when trying to start it also. Any suggestions?

So if I dont have the air box on will it suck too much air and not start? It acts like it isn't trying to fire but I check spark and it is nice and strong.

Well, let's go back to the beginning. Did the bike run before?
If not what have you done to revive it?

Hijacking someone elses' thread is not the way. Now I'm doing it too. Just trying to help you out.
Your first post should have been in the GS Owners Forum. Click on the New thread button, type away, introduce yourself and your bike, yada, yada, yada.

Then, start your own treads on any topic you like, in the approriate forum. For instance, if you have a question about carbs, post in the Technical forum Carb/Fuel/Exhaust.

Before you start a new thread on something that's probably been covered before, use the search and do some reading. If you don't find the answer, then ask away. Just do it in the right forum.Links

Bigt..yes it ran, but it had a bad oil leak from the headgasket. I replaced the headgasket and that was when I was going to do the pods and stuff. Right now the exhaust and air box are off. Just cranks and acts like it is not firing. I have triple checked my timing and they are still dead on
