HI has any one put rs34s on a 79, gs1000 like to know what set up and jets tips , can I use the stock throttle and cables ?

bloody big carbs for a stock engine, 29 31 or 33's are more appropriate

The RS34s will run your motor fine.
Goodbye to gas mileage
Do a search for the carbs and you should find the set up for your Zook
