float needle valve clip

    float needle valve clip

    anyone have part nummber or link where to buy those clips.
    BS32SS carb from GS550EZ.
    or i can run carbs without them (few people suggested that carbs will work without them)?

    You can run without them. I’ve run bs32’s bs34’s and bs36’s without them and haven’t had any problems. That clip just makes it harder to lose the needle during maintenance, it won’t make any difference when everything is assembled.

        Confirming proper operation in spite of lack of clips.

        As mentioned, they only hold the clip in place in the event that the carbs are turned upright before the floats are installed.

        I see many sets of carbs throughout the year, only see the clips on one or two sets. Have not noticed any pattern, like whether they are on larger or smaller bikes, or maybe certain years. Might start keeping track if I see another set of clips.
