Why can't we find OEM exhausts?

Is there no demand? Some kinda of EPA thing? I have a 1979 Suzuki GS1000EN. They started making the pipes for cylinders 1 and 4 through the Vintage Suzuki parts program. But, they do not have the mufflers/pipes for cylinders 2 and 3. Do not want anything but stock (or at least a good replica). I have looked through several posts, googled it and etc... for months. No solid answer.

Demand is too low. Suzuki guys are cheap too, at least more so than the big KZ guys that spend more freely.

As I recall that "Vintage Suzuki Parts Program" wasn't an actual program at all, rather just some dealership that was making a big deal out some of the remaining parts that are still available.

Even finding salvage units is rare....and expensive. I went with a Delkevic full system on my GS1000 because the stock systems was rotted out from one end to the other. I'm not real happy with how loud it is even with the megaphone setup but at least it's not full of holes.

I've seen that link but pretty sure there are NO new parts being made. Just the normal stuff Suzuki has decided to continue to supply and some old left overs.
