Amazing what replacing the intake O rings does

Took the advice of the welcome web page and took off the intakes to look at the o rings-nasty! The mating surface of the intakes were all rusty
and the o rings were dry and cracked. Cleaned everything up along with new o rings. Now the bike (GS1000) starts much easier cold, idles better hot,
and doesn't stick at a fast idle for no apparent reason. I'm so happy

I'm going to stick my hand up and be the dumb one here. I tried looking for anything regarding the intake o-rings on the welcome page and didn't see anything. What am I over looking?

That's OK, it doesn't apply to your bike, anyway.

Your intake tubes are simply hoses that clamp onto metal tubes on the head and onto the carbs.
