GS550 4-1 exhaust options
I have a 1980 GS550e and am trying to find a decent exhaust for it but there doesn't seem to be any vendors for it, the only thing I can find are MACs which are very expensive and not even stainless. does anyone know of any other options? has anyone tried putting a Delkevic CB550k exhaust on a gs550?Tags: None -

If you are stuck on having a 4-1, yes your choices are limited.
The Mac that Spyder posted is a decent price but their quality is not good.
Marving makes a sytem for the 550 but it will be expensive getting one out of Europe.
Plenty of used stock systems on Ebay that i would look into before buying a Mac.

I have a Yoshimura that I pulled off a Katana that I want to use. the bike came with a decent set of headers but the previous owner thought it would be cool to take a hacksaw right before the mufflers.
my options right now are either try that Delkevic system made for a cb550k or make my own exhaust using the Yoshimura + stock headersComment

If you already have a decent set of stock headers a search will turn up a number of threads about aftermarket or Harley mufflers to complete the system.2@ \'78 GS1000Comment
