    Will a GS450 L model carburetor fit on a E model?

I have been offered a reasonably cheap set of carburetors from a GS450 L model, but will the fit my mid-80's E model? On the pictures you will find the L model that I have been offered. They look a bit different from the ones I have for my E model, especially the top.

P.S. apparently they have been jetted for the pods, but that's not why I'm looking to buy them.

    Checkout this thread.

Looks like this should work, but you can ask boxcarbobby about his experience.

What year are the "L" carbs? Suzuki made a change for the '83 carbs, some of the late '82 bikes got the newer carbs.

They will probably work, but you might have to do some wizardry for the "choke" mechanism.

Seller says it's from 85 (the L model) so it would be one of the "newer" ones I guess.
