SH775: Honda R&R 6 wire sense wire connection?

Replacing a 1979 GS1000 Honda 6 wire R&R with a SH775. The GS1000 already has a 4 pin (30, 85, 86, 87) normally open coil relay installed. Currently the Honda R&R sense wire is connected to the coil relay terminal # 86 coil power.

When installing the SH775 should I keep the coil relay # 86 connection and run the wire to the SH775 (Positive +) terminal? Or simply remove the old sense wire completely?

Not sure if the SH775 benefits from a "sense wire"

There's no provision for a sense wire in the 775. Can't say its absence is any detriment, as the 775 just works fine without it.

What is connected to 30 and 87 on the relay?

Like Grimly says, the SH775 does not need a sense wire, there are no provisions for one.

Yeah, even with the Honda I'm not sure 86 was the right place for it... Isn't 86 open when the bike's running?
