    Anyone used this eBay ignition?

Looks like the Chinese have copied the Dynatek ignition systems?? Anyone tried one of these? Do they work? Your thoughts?

I haven't but I'll be watching the responses. I looked at these recently but wasn't sure if I wanted to keep my bike with points or not.

I know a few people who are using them and they perform exactly the same as the "genuine" Dyna's and are pretty much identical including the part numbers apart from the packaging.
Dyna switched production from the US to China over 15 years ago and it's possible these come out of the factory back door.
It's likely the copywright has expired or something.
Same goes for the Dyna coil knockoffs which are identical apart from not having the "DYNA" name cast in the resin body.

        Thanks zed1015!

Seeing as they are about half the price of new points and condensers, looks like a no-brainer! Points are a PITA anyway!

I fitted one of those systems to my GS1000 last year, Dyna failed on 1&4. It's been fine up to now, worth a punt.
