Issues with Dynatek selectronic ignition

Hello I am looking for some positive solution based responses on why the ds3-2 system continues to fail on me.

This is the third system that I've gotten from dynatek and its failing at the same place the epoxy that holds the magnet into the rotor is failing somehow. And it chews up the sensors.

I have a 1979 suzuki gs850

There needs to be clearance between the magnet and the pickup. I'm not sure how much, but they shouldn't touch. Have you measured the clearance? Maybe do so, and talk to Dyna's tech support?

The magnet coming loose is a recent common problem due to a change in the epoxy formula .
Dynatek know of this issue and have reverted back to the original epoxy.
The affected Dyna ignitions were pulled from the shelves but some got sold before the issue came to light.
If you contact Dynatek they will refund or replace the ignition and if you are lucky you may get reimbursed for all three.
