    Starter Solenoid

So finally after getting the batt installed..the starter solenoid is toast...power in and nothing out..aside from paying almost $70 from BB or taking a chance from ebay any other options? or has anyone disassembled one and repaired it?

Glad you got it working, but if you should find the need to replace one, go to Lowe's or Auto Zone, get a solenoid for a lawn tractor.

Perfect fit and usually less than $20.

Thanks for the replies..great info..sure beats the almost $70 tag for oem...I neglected to hook up a ground from the solenoid base to the eng/chassis so needless to say I feel like a complete idiot..got that hooked up and all is good.

Once again, it just proves that it takes more than ensuring good connections to a device, you need to get the current back, too.
