stalled twice today

    stalled twice today

    both time as I pulled in the clutch and put on the brakes to slow down. it started right back up. Noticed it idled light too. I realized that the petcock was not completely straight down when I got home and fixed that.

    any ideas?

      did it feel like a fuel delivery issue or electrical?

      carbs clean?
      electrical grounds cleaned and greased?

          Electrical system was checked out in Nov.

          Of course it is very likely I let off the throttle too much when I had the clutch in.

              sounds more like durt in the carbs.

                  You should be able to close it completely. What RPM does it normally idle at?

                      Is this the only time acting up? If fuel bowls full, ptcock vent tube straight,maybe just petcock position partial block the fuel or vacum. Ride it. SAN
