Ground wire on gs1000G R/R

Hi All,
Just wondering if the ground wire from the R/R is mounted onto the right hand side of the fuse box. On the small metal plates at the bottom of it? Not quite sure where it should go.

Ideally the ground from the R/R should go directly to the battery negative terminal.
Normally it is terminated on the battery box over the existing black/white usually under the bolt that holds the ignitor or solenoid to the battery box sideplate.
