replace copper with supressor core plug cables?

I just got some coils from a newer bandit to replace the failed accel coils on my 80GS1100LT. I would like to know if it is possible to use the supressor core plug cables that came with my accel coils with the stock bandit coils. I know the stock cables are copper and the way they connect at the coil is with this little spike thing. Just wondering if a supressor core cable can use the same connection as well. Any advice is much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Should be fine but make sure your spark plug caps are not the resistor type - like a stock cap. It's either or when it comes to the wires.
