Can I use supression core wires on my 79 GS750 with stock coils and points type ignition? Thanks for any advice.Tags: None -

As mentioned, the caps are already "supressor" type caps.
If you install "supressor" type wires, you don't want "supressor" caps, too.
One or the other, but not both.

From my understanding, you need at least one of the wires, plugs or caps to have resistors in them. A lot of bikes have the resistor caps and resistor plugs and thats fine you just wont have as much spark energy. I run non resistor plugs and non-supression wires with ngk resistor caps.Comment
